I'm deeply saddened that it took me until Sept. 2022 to discover the existence of this band and album. How could my music friends have let me down so thoroughly? How could I not have just sensed the presence of this masterpiece and channeled it from thin air. Absolutely crushing desert sludge, with groove that makes you want to bang your head...against a rusty nail on a prairie fence post.

I've finally got Black Line on physical copy and this record actually blew my mind. There's so much beauty to this album but also its so crushingly heavy and extreme in an audio sense, Respire don't hold back they just let everything go and beyond, amazing!!
